Save stories and posts in full quality.
Look at stories without leaving a view.
Saver is a bookmark that runs inside your own Instagram tab. Press it on instagram.com and a panel opens with three tools:
- Stories. The accounts you follow with a story up, newest first, or any account you type. Preview and save the photos and videos, and open highlights. Nothing counts as a view: the “seen” receipt Instagram’s story player sends is never sent.
- Post. Paste a post or reel link, or run Saver on one. Every photo and video in it, albums included, at the largest size Instagram stores.
- Place. Search a location tag, or run Saver on a location page. The top and recent posts tagged there, each with Open for its files and Stories for the account that posted it.

Use
- Open instagram.com in Safari or Chrome, logged in, and run IG Saver. A profile, post or location page is picked up automatically. Esc or × closes the panel.
- Tap a thumbnail to preview. Save fetches the full-size file, Save all the whole set. On a Mac or PC it downloads; on iPhone and iPad the share sheet opens, where Save Image or Save Video puts it in Photos. If Safari wants a fresh tap first, the button says Tap to save.
Files are named username_date_code.jpg or .mp4, with _1, _2 for albums.
Privacy
- The panel runs in your Instagram tab with your own login and talks only to instagram.com and its media servers. This site never sees what you look at or save.
- You see only what your account can see. Instagram’s terms count this as automated access, so use it for looking and saving, not for running through hundreds of accounts.
